Meet ups!

Tarot Explorations meet ups have started back up again! We meet at my house every Tuesday night, if you are interested in attending email me and I will let you know how. It has been a great experince for both learning and socializing so far. The Explorations are hands on and everyone gets a chance to participate. It's so interesting to see what each person has to say about one card or one reading or what ever the exploration has to offer at the time. It has been so enjoyable that I consider myself to have found a new passion. Hope to see you there!

Full Moon: Illumination of the Shadow

This will be the first of the Full Moon: Illuminating the Shadow meet up workshops.

This workshop explores the cycle that manifested one of our shadow aspects in life into being. This also offers positive insight on what you can do to heal the shadow allowing it to free you to create with a positive impact. Shadow can tend to stir up emotions and sensitive issues, but it can also open your eyes to new awakenings of empowerment. Come join us in Illumination of Your Shadow!

A basic understanding of Tarot would be helpful but I will be available to help any one who may have trouble.

This will take a little more or less time depending on the number of people in the group. I will need a minimum of 4 people to do this workshop and will accept up to 6 people. The cost is $25.00 to be paid on arrival. If you plan to attend this class please email me asap to ensure your space.

Please bring a tarot deck and journal.

SOUL FEST 2010!

I did readings last night at the first ever Soul Fest here in Rochester! It was at Village Gate Square with plenty of food to choose from, interesting shops, lots of room for readers & vendors and music in the court yard to boot! I was busy most of the time so I missed out on the belly dancers that performed and the many speakers that were scheduled on a variety of interesting subjects. Never the less I liked the energy that was Soul Fest and the Village Gate seems to have a great energy for doing readings. I will be doing Tarot readings there on Friday nights once I'm off for the summer. I will post it on the calender so that you can know the dates that I will be available for readings at Mythic Treasures in Village Gate. I'm looking forward to the next Soul Fest for 2011!

Inspirational card for June

This card is pride in a job well done but not yet finished. Now it is time for things to take hold and grow to their fullest potential. In this stage you don't want to rush things as in doing so you will miss out on much of the sweetness that comes with waiting. So, take pride and be happy with the work you have done. Be satisfied in knowing that it will pay off as long as you are patient and keep up with the details in the mean time.

Tonight's Tarot Exploration

Tonight was a great exploration! We got off to a bit of a bumpy start but once things smoothed out the messages began to come through clearly. We used a Dream reading that I got from Lisa of Idun's Apples on fb. Thank you Lisa for sharing! We broke up into pairs and did the reading for each other after picking out symbols from the dream and finding words to go with those symbols. You can find more details at the source (Idun's Apples on fb). Soon we began to understand the messages of our dreams more clearly and for some of us it wasn't what we thought it would be but it was clearly correct. For others whom had no idea what their dream meant, it was an eye opener and helped them to come to a better understanding.

I give a great deal of credit to my entire group for being open to exploration, new ideas and ways of doing things. It was not an easy reading to go into with no previous knowledge of it but, they did it with an open mind and an open heart! True Explorer's!

It is a wonderful reading to use with your dreams!

Card for reflection

THE STAR

This is a beautiful card to reflect upon in most decks. It almost always makes me think of two things. Hope & Direction. Despite the fact that I am not a church type person this card reminds me of the story of the birth of Jesus. The star which gave unwavering guidance to the three wise men so that they could find the savior of hope. In this particular deck, The Tarot of Dreams, she says to me that the direction of hope brings with it peaceful emotions. You are who you are and are completely acceptant of all that entails. So, in this confidence of self acceptance you also become a beacon of hope for others. As your foundation rest upon hopefulness so do you spread hope to others.

For me this card brings a message of lessons learned. To quiet my emotions and listen to the directions that I can now take because of those lessons learned. It is all sinking into me now; the results of those lessons. I can have peace because of it as well as offer directions of peace to others. There is a gentle understanding settling in now and it tells me where I can and cannot trod. It also tells me that there is much to be gained in this new light. Keep accepting as I contemplate and move forward! I will continue to reflect upon this for a couple of days and if any thing that is note worthy comes up I may decide to share it with you.
